Hello! I am holding a picture Post Card with the likeness of *Mr. Jim May* on it. A friend said he found it among his Mother's things recently and discovered that he has an ancestor named May!! He wants to find some kinfolks to the man in the picture!! To my father, James Starling May WAS "Jim" May. The Cemetery on the Shelby County site was known to my folks as the 'Jim May Cemetery'. I suppose they knew that he was really James Starling May--and that the name 'May Family' Cemetery was a logical name. Also, there might be some other 'May' descendant named Jim also. Let me tell you about his clothes. He is wearing a white dress shirt/tie/suit jacket and a cap that looks like what a conductor on a train might wear.. The only word that we can read is 'Houston' The rest is not readable -- What do you make of this? I believe it was taken around the turn of the century...1900-1905 somewhere along in there. Any help would be appreciated.
