Planting Shelby County O n e b u l b a t a t i m e . . . The Shelby County Historical Society is sponsoring a fundraiser - beautification program by offering heirloom bulbs. These bulbs are closely related to the daffodil family and were selected for the East Texas region, as they are easy to grow, are drought tolerant and will multiply through the years. Gardeners will have many years of fragrant wonderful blooms. If you like, your bulbs can be donated back to the Society to plant around the county on public property such as parks, schools, right-of-ways so they be enjoyed by all.
