The doctors there were Dr. T.L. "Tommy" Hurst and Dr. L.S. Oates, Sr. It was a big two-storied frame building and at one time had nurses' quarters in back. I was born there in 1930 and have many fond memories of the hospital and Dr. Tommy Hurst who was a fine doctor and a good friend. The hospital was sold in the early 70's and moved to a location in the country. I believe it was to be completely restored as a private residence..........
