The Shelby County Historical Society will be sponsoring an Oral History Workshop on Thursday, June 22 at the Shelby County Museum. Starts at 1:00 p.m. Learn how to properly collect, organize, archive and index histories. Get answers to questions and concerns. Also learn of the new technologies and challenges facing oral, video and written histories. Ann Morris with Panola College and the East Texas Oral History Archives and Computer Lab will be our guest speaker. She has done an excellent job in Panola County. Admission is free however, you do need to contact the Society by June 20th to let them know you will be attending. This will enable us to copy materials.
