I saw an article in the Timpson & Tenaha News paper dated Jan. 6, 2000 concerning the Tenaha City Cemetery being vandalized over the last month. Several of Tenaha's pioneer citizens are buried there. Albert Burns is in charge of both Tenaha cemeteries and said "Not only will it be extra work and extra expense, but this cemetery is always short on funds because only a few are left who have ralatives buried there."
