Lecture Series 2001 Part IV Shelby County Historical Society meeting April 26th 6:00 p.m. Museum 230 Pecan Street Center, Texas Refreshments served Velicia Bergstrom, Archaeologist with the US Department of Agriculture Forest Service, Lufkin, Texas will be presenting a program on "Texas Heritage Land & Preservation Program", Passport in Time and their latest excavation in Shelby County, Texas. This site was unearthed by the 1998 Wind Storm. Ms. Bergstrom is the project leader for archaeology sites on the National Forests and Grasslands of Texas. The MUSEUM will be close in observance of the Easter Holidays April 13, 14 and 15.
