CALL for material for the new "History of Shelby County, Texas Vol. II" The Society History Book Committee is looking to collect any information pertaining to Shelby County people, places, events starting with present day and go back into history. This is your chance to add to Vol. I's information or make corrections. WE also want new family histories of people living today in Shelby County!!! Material may be submitted to the below address in any of the following formats. (PLEASE submit only copies of information, photographs) All material becomes the property of the Society) * MS Word capability * Floppy Disk * Zip Disk * CD * Scanned photos * Copies of photographic materials - please only those done at Photo processing businesses, not copies from a copy machine * Also printed material will be accepted, but due to the time of retyping onto the computer it is a choice of last resort. * Submit only information and material that is referenced by the submitter and has an address and phone number to call.
