Hellow list- I was wondeing if this county border Arkansas? My grandfather tok my grandmother out of Montgomery county Ark and paid for her divorce to her second husband( Elton Saunders) I cant locate a divorce to Saunders and a marriage for Mittie Saunders to george Caves. Is Texas a common law state? Could their be a marriage if a divorce was not filed??
