    3. The Historical Society is meeting on the 27th of Sept. for a very interesting program. The Texas Commission on the Arts will be speaking about their programs and funding grant opportunities to help bring cultural events to our area. The meeting starts a 6:00 p.m. and in open to the public. Refreshments will be served. NOTE: The Heritage Bulb Sale continues to this Friday, Sept. 28th. Don't miss a great chance to help beautify Shelby County. Packages range from $10 to $75. Bulbs donated back to the society will be planted around the county on public places.
