I am researching my Gilbert line, they were on the 1860 Shelby County census as: T G (Thomas G) Gilbert, age 48 Mary (Whiteside/sides) Gilbert, age 39 (her sister was Mrs Decalb (Lucinda) Sapp - also in Shelbt county) S C (Samuel Columbus) Gilbert, age 17 Lucy, age 15 M W (William), age 13 John (John Perkins?), age 11 Augustus (Augustus M.), age 3 Clementine, age 8, M? Marion, age 3, M Richard, age 2/12, M Francis, age 2/12, F the family had a SC, AL (Blount County), AR (Bradley County), TX migration pattern. TX counties where members of this line lived include: Eastland, Coryell, Rusk, Cherokee, Leon, & Comanche. Would like to exchange information. Gil
