While in Shelby Co. for my father-in-laws funeral I went by Dixon Cemetery to find the location of Rhodie Jean Richards Echols grave so I could update my by row listing. I didn't find any new graves. I dropped by the Timpson Area Genealogy Library to see if they could help. They have a card file of obituaries. On Rhodie's card Dixon was marked out and a note added stating that the burial was in Powdrill, not Dixon. The error was in the newspaper, which caused the error in the 8/23/2002 facts.. This also caused an error in the listing for Dixon Cemetery. If you haven't been by the Timpson Area Genealogy Library you should go. They have a wonderful library, several helpful voluntaries, and lots of material.
