Linda, I read in our local paper about the 1930 census being available today too. It most likely will only be available in the National Archives for a few days or weeks. I went to Longview today and stopped by the library to check on it. They told me they have ordered and paid for theirs and are still waiting for it to come in. I am looking forward to it. If we want it in our local library we have to order and pay for it ourselves. Darlene
Shelby County Microfilm for the 1930 Census can be ordered by calling 1-800-234-8861. Ask for T626 Roll 2390. It will cost $34.00 + S&H. I ordered one today for our Shelby Co. Museum. Have your credit card ready. ----- Original Message ----- From: <Gubasemia@aol.com> To: <TXSHELBY-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, April 01, 2002 4:59 PM Subject: 1930 Census > Linda, I read in our local paper about the 1930 census being available today > too.
