    3. On page 840 of the Shelby County History, there is a group picture of the Taylor family, and I wish to ask if there is anyone on the list that might have a copy of this photo? I would appreciate having a copy of the photo, or, perhaps a scanned image sent to me via email, if possible. The info on the Taylor family was provided by Julian Taylor. My mother-in-law was Eunice Taylor, and her parents were James Hiram Taylor and Nettie Golden. Any photos would be appreciated. Thanks, Sallie Cannon near Beaumont, TX

My father, Burt E. Dunahoe was born in Shelby County in 1929. His father, Paul Joshua Dunahoe is buried in Lone Cedar Cemetary. My father tells me that Paul's father was named Perry Dunahoe. We do not know Perry's father's name. Perry's full name was Perry Warner Dunahoe. Dad has told me that Perry's father married a woman named the widow Ross. She was the daughter of Mary Hopgood Wilson Truitt who is buried in Lone Cedar Cemetary. Dad tells me that Perry had some half brothers identified as Booker and Louis Ross. Can you help finding lineage past Perry Warner Dunahoe. Dad tells me that the tract of land where the Haslam community exists once was owned by my great great grandfather. Any help you can give would be appreciated. Please Email any replies to terrydun@exp.net Thanks Terry Dunahoe --part1_9b.2d32293.2608b819_boundary--

    2. Sandra, You are so right about Shelby County people being dedicated. Part of my Griffin family lived and probably some still live in Shelby County. After visiting the website, I was very impressed. So impressed in fact, that I took the time to vote for it for County of the month. I had not voted for any before this. I appreciate the work, Darlene

    3. Strong Cemetery is already listed. Shelby County is very progressive in getting their cemeteries listed on the web, much more so than other counties I work in. The people in this county are so dedicated in getting all their resources out there. Go to www.rootsweb.com/~txshelby/ and click on Cemeteries of Shelby Co.
