Does Mattie Dellinger still do a radio program in Center? If so, would someone provide me with the postal mailing address to send something to her? I have some local interest material to send that she might like to use. It concerns a woman who was born in Center and spent her early years there. She went on to be influential in some medical research. When she died recently in Beaumont, the paper there carried memorial articles in addition to her obituary. I think she may have been a youthful acquaintance of Mattie's. CWBrazell@aol.com
Thank you Ray and Reece for putting this census and the obituaries online. I appreciate all your effort. There is much more on the Shelby Co. site than on most of the other counties in TX. Keep up the good work. Sue Moore

I believe he was born 5/4/1918 in Shelby County, TX and died 9/22/1990 somewhere in TX. I think this is the right person I am looking for. Anyway, I don't know anything else about him other than he married my great grandmother, Eula Clark, in Shelby County, TX and they had one child, Charles Wayne Bivens. I didn't know whom else to contact, so I hope I am not bothering you. Could you tell me someone that could help me? I would really appreciate it. Any help would be wonderful! Anyone have a positive death date; source record death date; or even an analyzed logical death date for LUVISA ANDERSON LOUT PARMER? She was born in 1783 in South Carolina, and was daughter of Bailey Anderson & Mary Wyatt. She married John Lout about 1810 in Indiana, and I understand that she married Martin Parmer about 1832. In the will of John Lout dated Dec. 30, 1831, he shows his children as: Pinckney, Julia Ann, Bailey, Alfred, Varner, Mariah, Judy Matilda, Ruth, John. And I believe that there was an Indiana, who might have died prior to the making of the will. I hear that Luvisa Anderson Lout Parmer, died between 1836 - 1839, and I'd surely like to pin that down on a definite date. Thanks, Sallie Cannon
