    1. Bullock - Cleveland
    2. Brenda Parker
    3. I wonder if anyone is familiar with Earnest BULLOCK buried at Corinth Cemetery in Shelby County and knows more about his family or marriage. I have been told that Mary Tom "Tommie" CLEVELAND, from Panola County, was married to Harris Bullock, who died before 1920. Most of Tommie's Cleveland relatives are buried at Corinth. The gravestone for Earnest gives his birthdate as Nov 5, 1892, and deathdate as Oct 7, 1918 or maybe 1910. Tommie was born July 1897.There are a few other Bullock's buried at Corinth (C.L., J.F., and Luther), but Earnest's comes closest to the dates that match Tommie. In the 1920 census, Mary T Bullock is a widow living with her brother's family in Angelina County. She may have later moved to California and remarried and possibly had a son, but I don't know the details on that either. Does any of this sound familiar to anyone? Brenda Parker Houston, TX

    2. Barbara Eberly
    3. Hello, (While this message relates primarily to people connected to Bradley Springs, some of you working on other cemeteries might be interested in the page on Restoration and Preservation and the pictures of some of the stones which we have repaired.) I have recently uploaded a web page for Bradley Springs Cemetery. Names on tombstones there include: Risinger, Bowlin, Britt, Brookshier, Corley, Courtney, Ferguson, Garrett, Green, Henry, Hillei, Hillen, Holt, Hooper, Jolley, Lee, Lightfoot, Moore, Nichols, Paramore, Porter, Ramsey, Roberts, Ross, Strahan, Thacker, Wood. http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~beberly/bradley.htm There is also a Risinger web page: http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~beberly/risinger/rising.htm If you are related to the Risingers in any way at all, please write me. I am in the process of trying to proof the Risinger database we compiled several years ago and there are some gaps...... I would also welcome pictures of anybody buried in Bradley Springs--as well as information on the relationship of anybody buried there to anyone else buried there. Thank you. Barbara Walters Eberly

    3. This would be fun to research. At that time, I think "Joe's girl" would probably mean his daughter. That sounds like something an Aunt Eunice (Joe's sister) would say. If you have a postmark, check the Shelby County census nearest to the postmark (or the county from where it was postmarked) or check the 1900, 1910, and 1920 census for a Joe Richards family (looking for a Richards family with a Eunice at the same time.) Let us know if you figure it out.
