He left home as a young man (he was born in 1873) after 'words' with his father. Apparently he never returned to Illinois, supposedly he raised or procured horses and mules for the Army during WW1. I just found him on the 1920 Census living in San Augustine Co. in Precinct 3. The family would like to know did he marry? does he have descendants? Any information at all would help.
