She was born on August 19, 1931, in San Augustine, Texas, to John Hilton and Vera Mae Snellings. For 25+ years she worked as a cashier at the Commercial State Bank. Her services were held at the First Baptist Church in San Augustine on Monday, October 28, 2002. Mrs. Henly was survived by a daughter, Donna Lynn & Mike Carrell of San Augustine; sons, John & Tory Henly and Edwin & Lisa Henly, both of San Augustine; Grandchildren, Moira Carrell West & husband, Jason; Erin Carrell, Jenny Henly, Joe Henly, Casey Henly & Callie Grace Henly; Sisters, Johnnie Whitescarver, Geraldine Van Schoebroek & Mary Williamson; and brother, Raymond Hilton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Henly, sisters, Bobbie Cupit & Mattie Jackson and brother, Ernest Hilton. Services were under the direction of Wyman Roberts Funeral Home.
