He was born to John A McGee and Jessie Lee Wagstaff in San Augustine County, Texas, on December 24, 1948. At the time of his death he lived in Orangefield, Texas. He worked for Texaco as a lab technician. He is survived by his sons: Charles Wesley McGee and Terry Lynn McGee, both of Nederland, Texas; brothers - Richard E. McGee of Lufkin, Texas, and John C. McGee of Broaddus, Texas; sister - Kathleen Butler of San Augustine, Texas. His services will be on Sunday, September 29, 2002, at 1:00 P.M. at the Bridge City Chapel, Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City, Texas, and a 4:00 P.M. graveside service at the Chinquapin Cemetery in San Augustine, Texas. All arrangements are be handled by the Claybar Funeral Home, Bridge City, Texas.
