Emory Williams was the brother to Norman Thomas Williams. Norman was married to Virgie Carrell. These two families are connected to my family on both sides, my maiden name is Williams and my Grandmothers Mother was Rebecca Jane Carrell, Aunt Virgie's sister. In my notes Norman's parents, which would have been Emory's parents as well, were William ( T ) Williams and Martha C. Henley. Now I don't know if this William is the brother of Sherman Williams or not, but I do have noted that my Grandparents called him Uncle Bill. I will call my Grandmother and see if she remembers the connection. She's 83 and still in good health, but she has never really had a good memory for names and family connections. She just knew if she was related to them or not, but not HOW she was related. My Grandfather, Chester Amey Williams was the one who knew everybody. But maybe she will remember. Please keep in touch.
