Sure wish I could help you on this, but these names have never shown up on my research of the Stanleys. I have traced my San Augustine County Stanley family back to Stephen Jefferson Stanley, Sr., b. 1784 in South Carolina. This is not to say that your Stanley/Thornton relatives were not in San Augustine County.
