I don't know if they are the same Watsons. My grandmother's maiden name was Fannie Watson, born 1888 in Ironosa, Shelby Co., TX. She married Archie Davis from San Augustine Co., TX. Her father was William Washington Watson. Her mother was Narcissus Byrd Watson. William Washington Watson had a brother named Nehemiah Taylor - called Taylor - Watson, a Baptist Preacher who came to the area with them. Billy Watson's parents were John and Frances Watson. They lived in Coffee Co., AL. I don't seem to have Lemuel, T. C. or Henry Watson on my database. George is further back and is of course a common name.
