He was a member of the Liberty Hill Baptist Church. He served in the U.S. Army. Boyd of San Augustine, Texas Sisters: Jean Horton of Bullard, TExas Mary Nell Echols of Dayton, Texas Patricia Frederick of Jersey Village, Texas Brother: Carlos & Betty Boyd of Pineland, Texas Grandchildren: Savannah Boyd, Bethany Boyd, Breanna Boyd, McKenzie Boyd, Brandon Boyd, Bailee Boyd Funeral arrangements were handled by Wyman Roberts Funeral Home, San Augustine. Services were held on November 27, 2002, at 11:00 A.M. at the Wyman Roberts Memorial Chapel, with interment following in the Liberty Hill Cemetery.
