Thank you Patricia, I was happy to get the information on the Sheffield's. I have always know that I was connected in some way but never knew how it was and this answered all my questions. I was happy to get it and I made me a copy. I grew up in Jaspter, TX and there I knew a family of Sheffields and their two daughters were about the age of my older sisters and they were very good friends. This was the family of Lane and Maggie Sheffield. I did not find a Lane in this information but I did find the Roberts. Coleman Sheffield's 2nd wife Susan Roberts was the sister of my Grandmother, Jane Roberts Beard. James Henry Roberts was a brother to my Grandmother.
