He was a Staff Sargent. He is survived by: Wife: Queva Fae Hester Jeanes of San Augustine, Texas Sons: Danny Ray & Chris Jeanes of Beach City, Texas; Thomas Wesley & Shelly Jeanes of San Augustine, Texas Grandchildren: David Wesley Jeanes, Michael Ray Jeanes & Melissa Ann Russell; Sisters: Johnnie Perry & Arene Jeanes, both of Houston, Texas. Furneral arrangements were handled by Wyman Roberts Funeral Home, San Augustine, Texas. The funeral was held on November 18, 2002, at Calvary Baptist Church, San Augustine, Texas, and burial was at Blue Springs Cemetery in Etoile, Texas.
