My family is buried in Runnels cemetary in san augustine but i don't remember a Jesse Runnels. Jennie Jane Armstrong born1813 Tennesee and death 1882 Angelina county they say she was buried in the old Runnels Cemetary in Angelina and moved to San Augstine. Her father name was Jesse Armstrong born 1781(in York county S. Caralina)( died 1864) and mother Prudence Moorehead born 1784.I have found them in the cenus in mississippi in 1830. He married my grandmother Lillie Boycher in 1918. He worked around sawmills most of his life. We do not know anything about him and if anyone can give me any information I would be very grateful. The reason that I have them in my data base is because I am kin to the Bullocks of San Augustine County, Texas. However, the San Augustine County Cemetery books show that Mary C. Bullock Ray's parents were William C. Bullock? and Martha Anderson? I have family in Shiloh, too. The surname is Wallace and I can remember going there to clean up the plots then we would have a picnic on the grounds. It was an all day get together. I remember my great, great aunt actually packing a trunk with food. Linda
