Hi Debbie; Don't know if this is the one your looking for. Found a E. Barnes in the "Abstract of Deeds, Sabine Co. Archives, Hemphill, Tx." by Blanche Toole. Pg. 56 page 130 Deed - A.J. Mitchell to E. Barnes - same land. 19March 1863. The land they are refering to is from page 127 Deed- F F.M. Hargrove and wife Emeline to C.D. White Land on Wm. Pace Headright. 12April 1879 hope this helps.pam
