Thanks, Melinda, for posting the records from your book on the Baptist Church in Hemphill. Although my family probably did not attend that church, I am exceedingly interested in these historical records -- they give us a glimpse of the society that produced them. Does anyone know anything about the Little Flock Church? A couple of months ago, I visited the graves of my grandparents (and other family members) who are buried at the Little Flock Cemetery. It is possible that my family attended that church since they are buried there and I would like to know more about the history of the church. I might mention that this was my first trip to Sabine County. My mother died when I was a baby and I learned very little about my maternal family while I was growing up. Now, in my old age :-), being afflicted with the genealogical bug, I would really like to know more about my family and the other people in their lives. Wow, that was a long-winded "thank you"!
