J.T. Stanton began a meeting with said church beginning on Saturday before the fourth Sunday in November 1887 and continued nineteen days. The following named persons were added to the church by Experience and Baptism: Sisters Emily Toole, Belle Smith, Ida Weatherred, Jennie Pratt, Maggie Ragan; and Bros. Wm. C. Davis, Wm. W. Weatherred, Clint Arthur, and C.W. Easley. The following were received by letters: Sudie Speights, Elias Clark, Green W. Speights, W.T. Arnold, Wiley Low, Sarah Low, and the following by restoration: Jerusha Speights and L.D. Arnold. J.M. Strickland Churche's Clerk.
