I'm looking for ALEXANDER and WILSON relatives. My WILSON relative from Sabine Co., TX was Rev. Francis WILSON, my GGgrandfather. He was a Methodist circuit riding minister for years and later settled in Sabine Co., TX. He was born in 1790 in VA, moved to Ohio in 1827, moved to Newton Co., TX in 1848. He later moved to Sabine Co., TX. and died on 2 Oct., 1867 in Whitman's Ferry, Calcasies (now Beauregard) Parish, LA. He was married to Elizabeth KOUNTZ from VA. Their son, Francis WILSON, my Ggrandfather, was born in 1824 in VA. He married Harriet BROWN on 15 Aug., 1843 in San Augustine, TX. Francis and Harriet WILSON's daughter, Margaret A. WILSON, born April, 1853 or 1855 in Polk Co., TX., was my Ggrandmother. Margaret A. WILSON married Stephen Moses OATES in Polk Co., TX. on 8 Aug., 1873. Their daughter, Minnie Lee OATES, was my Grand- mother. Minnie Lee OATES married John Elijah (Lige) ALEXANDER in Polk Co., TX. Minnie Lee and John Elijah (Lige) ALEXANDER had seven children, one of which was my Father, Roger Harris ALEXANDER, born in Livingston, Polk Co., TX on 18 Dec., 1916. John Elijah (Lige) ALEXANDER died in 1921 in Maryneal, Nolan Co., TX., and is buried there. John Elijah (Lige) ALEXANDER's parents were W. Thomas ALEXANDER and Emma Elder YOUNG. Tom and Emma moved from Polk Co., TX to Nolan Co., TX. I believe they both died there. Do any of these ALEXANDER and WILSON names fit into your family tree anywhere?
