Smith b. abt 1832, in Ms. (4) William Smith m. Nancy Ann Shilling Walker 9-10-1849 in Sabine Pr. La., Nancy had a child by a previous marriage, James W. Walker b. 1-17-1837 d.6-6-1862 Wm and Nancy had two children: Nancy Elizabeth Smith b. 3-18-1852 Sabine Pr., La. d. 6-19-1938, m. Francis Marion Miller 10-7-1875 in Newton Co., Tx. Daniel Vinson Smith b. 6-20-1855, Newton Co., Tx or Sabine Pr., La. d. 2-20-1918, m. (1) Susan A. Dainwood 1-10-1875 in Sabine Co., Tx. He m. (2) Easter Ann Miller 12-24-1879, daughter of Reubin Miller and Katherine Wolf, and Francis Marion Miller was Easter Ann's Brother. Daniel Vinson Smith is my husbands great grandfather.
