My wife and I plan to attend Settler's Day on Saturday, the 20th. Are any of you coming? I would like to meet and exchange notes on any descendants of the WEATHERRED's. This includes LAIRD, NORFORD, BROWN, OLIPHANT, DYE, LAWHON and WILLIAMS. These are surnames local to Milam, who married a WEATHERRED. I have found at least 5 Weatherred's who died in Sabine County that I have not found their burial places. My Frances Marcus WEATHERRED and Nancy Ann DOWELL are buried in Milam Cemetery, close to the festivities. Please respond so that we can find an easy way to meet. Thanks!
