The people that have subscribed to the mailing list, wish to thank everyone for all the great great people that help me to find my Granddad's parents and siblings. Tried for abt 8 yrs and I received more help than I can process. Have been under the weather hear lately and haven't got to spend as much on the mail msg's. Would like to know if anyone knows the Companies, Division, Regiments or what that were in Civil War from St. Clair County, Alabama that I may obtain the rosters of the men.Also, were there any Union outfits from St. Clair Co., Alabama.? The reason for the above I trying to find out if a James L. Morrison or James D. may have served in a Unit from St. Clair Co., Al. Have been told he may have died during the Civil War. Have seen some of the Morrison's that served in the Civil War in Alabama, There was probably 75 or more that served that was from Alabama with a initial J. Would like any help?
