I am researching a James D. Morrison b. 1822-28 in Georgia, not sure if he was borned in Carroll Co.,Ga or one of the counties. James middle name is Default and I notice there were alot of Default names in Carroll Co, Ga an wonder who James D. Morrison father or mother was since a lot of families would name their children after their folks and if anyone can help would appreciate it. Morrison that I am researching are: James D. Morrison wife Rutha Saten?? or Leyton that married in Carroll Co., Ga. like to verify if I can and any info would be greatly appreciated. Also, their children are as follows: William Morrison b. 1851 Carroll Co, Ga Sara Amada Morrison b. 1853 Jane Morrison b. about 1855 James Morrison John B. Morrison Joshua Morrison James and Rutha migrated to St. Clair Co., Ga sometime after 1853 but before 1855. Based on word of mouth James died sometime after Jan 1863, for Joshua Morrison ( Granddad) was borned abt Sep or Oct 1863 in St. Clair Co., and Rutha remarried a Thomas Skinner about 1867 and Rutha and him had a daughter, but sometimes befor 1875 Thomas married a Ann Morrison a daughter of A. J. Morrison. This Skinner in marriage books states he was a SR. Does anyone have any info that can say who this Skinner was ? If anyone can help it will be greatly appreciated. Bob
