Minerva Tipton, 13. James Tipton, 14. Benjamin Tipton, 15. Susan Putman wife of Wilson Putman, 16. John Gwathney, 17 Mary Gwathney, 18. Liby Jones wo were and are his only heirs and and distributees (**evidently some omitted.) Lily Jones, Liby Jones, Jonathan Gwathney, Robert Gwathney and Minerva Tipton are infants. Elisha Lindsay and wife Catharine, Eli Shelton and Wife Nancy and Rachel Cruse reside in Texas; John Tipton resides in Indiana, John Milligan and wife Matilda in Mississippi Lily Jones, Liby Jones, Jonathan Gwathney, Robert Gwathney, Joseph Gwathney, Mary Gwathney, Minerva Tipton, Samuel Tipton and Charles Tipton reside in Jackson County, Alabama and the rest in Madison County, Alabama Probate Record 28, page 500 April 12, 1867, Dower allotted Mary Tipton, widow of Jonathan Tipton in Sec 30 T3 R3 E.
