Peace on the day of her death, 4 June 1889. I, Sharon Speights Varnes, have: Sarah "Sallie" Jane Youngblood, the mother of James T. Peace, was born September 01, 1840. Her mother was Sarah Miller Harvey wife of Henry Youngblood. That Sarah Miller Harvey Youngblood died abt 1915 . In notes from Boswell, Osborne Heritage 1600-1991 (Edited by Shawnee Boswell Osborne February 19, 1991, James Roach- Yearbooks by Design - Publishers, Shreveport, La.): pg.82 from a letter to Shawnee (P. O. Box 9, Longville, La. 70652) from Blanche Finley Toole ( Box 430, Hemphill, Texas 75948) in August 2, 1990: "She lived to be 95 year old and blind. Living with daughter Sally's son, James T. Peace, sheriff of Sabine County and had raised Sally's Peace children ( James and Mattie Peace) . She also had a widowed daughter named McCloud that lived here. Sarah Harvey Youngblood had fourteen children. Seven sons served in the Civil War. Just surmise." Would love to share info and correct some of my mistakes or whatever. I am using FTM 6.0.
