John Burton FORSE, b. Oct.16, 1874 Sabine Co. Tx, m, Onie Sinclair MEADOR, d.Mar.21, 1966, Newton Co., Tx, bur. Newton City Cemetery, Newton, Tx. Onie Meador's grandfather , Dr. Richard A. Meador and his wife, Mary Ann Tucker;, came to Texas in the late 1830's and settled in Milam. John Burton Forse's grandfather, John Smith Forse,came to Texas in the 1840's and settled in San Augustine County.
