Hello all, I've been researching the Low-Conner feud and have spoken with many family members and was given some help by Mr. McDaniel. I have also read the book by Mr. Coombs about the feud. If anyone has heard any family legends or stories of those days that they are willing to share I would love to correspond with you. I am descended from Ike Low and Melissa Travis. I find the feud fascinating because of how all the families of Sabine County were mixed into it. Cannon Travis had daughters married to the Low's, Conner's and Smith's. I would like to gather as much information as possible on the subject and I am willing to share it with any interested parties.
