Both my parents were born in Sabine County. My father Weldon William Speights was born Nov 28, 1911, died Nov 13, 1988 in Texas City. Yesterday I discovered an old Speights family Bible. Only a few names are in it and there is no mention of the relationships. Example: G. W. Speights, born July 11, 1839, died Oct 24, 1922. Also John C. Speights born April 5, 1875, died Feb 22, 1962. Ida M.Speights (I believe may be my grandmother) born Nov 4, 1892, died Jan 22, 1929. Please contact me if these names have any effect on your research. Thank you, Mike Speights
