At the moment we know the mother, Elizabeth Doolittle,was born in LA and parents from VA & NC and that she had a son John M Doolittle born July 10, 1853 in LA. John is in the 1880 SanAugustine Co.TX census and his mother and sister are living with him as well as his wife and children some born in LA and some born in TX.
