Texas. When Manuel came home, James Stafford killed him. There may be an article in the Galveston Times, Feb. 1851 about this murder.d Benjamin Franklin Loving, son of Manuel Walton Loving died of Tuberculosis during the Civil War 8 Oct 1861 at Camp Quantico, Prince William Co. Virginia. William D. Loving may have been hung for horse stealing in Williamson Co. Texas. (c. 1860-1870) That William (Billy) Loving son of William D. Loving along with his first cousin Peter Loving son of John A. Loving, and cousin Peter Eldridge Jr., broke into a farm house and stole a saddle, March 1875 and all were sentenced to 4 years at the State Penitentiary in Huntsville, Texas. He was married to Elizabeth (Betsey) Grindstaff in 1873, of Burnet Co. Texas dau. of Henry and Abigail Grindstaff. Malissa (Lizzie) Loving dau. of William D. Loving and Elizabeth Eldridge, married Isac Riley Trent, of Llano Co. Texas son of John Trent and Jane Conner. He died and she remarried Ruben Estes Levinstong of Burnet Co. Texas. Benjamin F. Loving son of William D. Loving married Susan Beasley in Burnet Co. Texas and had son Ira B. Loving. Samuel Edward Loving, son of William D.
