Hello Ruth, I don't know if this is of any help.  James Alexander Hutto b. 1851 in Georgia  d. April 02, 1937 Fred, Tyler Co., Texas.  He married Sarah Alice Hooks  b. December 16 1861 in Silsbee, Hardin Co., Texas. They had a daughter Roxie Odelia Hutto  b. May 03, 1879 in Fred, Tyler Co., Texas.  Possibly your Hutto line is connected.  Look for William in Tyler, Jasper, and Hardin Counties.
