I hope someone will recognize a name and can help me A. John Wright, Sr. [what the initial "A" stands for is unknown at the present, but it is probably Andrew]. According to the 1850 Troup County, Georgia Census. John Wright was a 41 year old shoemaker. Sarah Wright, age 28, was listed in his household.Found that Sara Wright was a Hill before they married in either 8-03-1843 or 11-22-1848 in Troup County, Georgia Lloyd [Thomas] Wright, listed as 8 above, was included in the census as age 14. The Wrights listed here were close neighbors of the Hill Family where Rosa Jane Streeter was staying at the time. An A. J. Wright, Sr. was listed as living with Lloyd Thomas and Rosa Jane Streeter on the 1870 Sabine County, Texas census. He listed his age as 60 and the state of his birth as Alabama Descendants of A. John Wright Generation No. 1 1. A. JOHN1 WRIGHT was born Abt. 1809 in Alabama, and died in Sabine County, Texas. He married (2) SARAH HILL August 03, 1843 in Troup County, Georgia. Notes for A.
