Is anyone working on the GRANT lineage, specifically the GRANT's who migrated from Marshall County, TN around 1846? Specifically, I am seeking information about Thomas (Jefferson?) GRANT, father of James D. GRANT. Thomas GRANT died about 1838 in Marshall County and James GRANT moved from Marshall County, TN in 1840 to Pontotoc, Mississippi and then to Harrison, Mississippi in 1846.
