I'd about come to the same conclusion myself, about the place name on the back of the photo. My money's on it being pre-migration to TX, and most likely GA; there is a Talbotton , county seat of Talbot County. Which is a pretty big clue in itself to where this bunch of McHUGH and THOMSON folk came from.
