There may have been a Talbot, Texas at one time...did not check for that. One of the best resources online for the state is the New Handbook Of Texas, and you can search it by just entering the name in your address bar. In dealing with Robertson County you must remember that in the beginning it took up a large portion of the state. If you will look at the Texas GenWeb site and go to the Robertson County site from there, you will find loads of information, including maps, cemeteries, census etc. Good luck.
