Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 4 o'clock in the Galloway-Wilson Funeral Chapel. The officiating ministers were the Rev. W. J. Coleman, Presbyterian minster, and Dr. B. C. Brown, pastor of First Baptist Church. Miss Georgia Thomas Moss was born in Hearne (Robertson County), Texas, on November 16, 1863, and had she lived until her next birthday aniversary she would have attained the age of 101 years. She was a daughter of Samuel Moss and Lydia (McKnight) Moss Miss Moss resided in Beeville a little more than half a century. The last four years she has lived in Kingsville. She was an aunt of Mrs. W. A. Francis of Kingsville, the former Miss George Offutt, of Beeville. Mrs. Frances and her husband, Dr. W. A. Francies, died the same day a few years ago and were buried in Beeville. Two great-grandnephews of Miss Moss--William A. Francis of Washington, D.C. and George C. Francis of Maryland--attended the graveside rites. Other out-of-town people present at the services were Mrs. Henry Stovall, Miss Frankie Lutts, Mrs. Maxie LUtts and two daughters, and Mrs. Virgil Gilliam of San Antonio and Burton Lutts of Oakville.
