We would appreciate it if, whichever one of John Rhodes or Jan Hargis has the letter that Minnie Lee (Whitley) Gray wrote about her husband James dying in Petteyway, Texas to contact us for a copy of the letter that was written on my email address above. We are now researching the Spears family of Woodson Spears and Van Gray. We would appreciate correspondence on this family also on our email address. We can exchange information on other Gray families. Your help on this would be appreciated. We are trying to find families we have yet to know existed and hope to meet with them one of these days and hopefully the distance won't be too far to drive for a meeting with other family descendants of the Gray's and the Whitley's. Sincerley yours, John Tippit
