The only family I am sure about is her two sons Nathaniel and Squire. I no longer believe that this Ruthy is the Elizabeth Campbell who came to Texas in 1829 with 3 sons and two daughters as part of Austin's colony. That Elizabeth received land in other counties. But this Ruthy did come to Texas in 1829.

MS, Minervia age 7 b. MS and Charlie age 4 b. TX. On the 1880 Robertson Co., TX census there is D.R. age 58, Margarett age 54, R.W. age 19, M.O. age 17 and C.B. age 15. The next family is J.D. age 23, E.M. age 24, W. Lee age 7, M.V. age 4, I. or J. Buck age 1 and M. R. Age 1. I then find Steve D and his family on the 1910 and 1920 censuses for Trinity County. So far I can't find the families in 1900. Do you know where they are? And do you know where David R and James David and wives are buried? Any help will be appreciated.

Please handle for sending to E-mail address [email protected] Hello: I received your message on TX Robertson tracing for relatives of Richard and Lillie Bell (Stanley) Upshaw. Yes, these names are on my Family Tree. Richard`s grandmother was my great aunt Martha (Mattie) Dotson. Her daughter Minnie, married Hubbard (HUB) Upshaw and one of their children was Richard who married Lillie Bell Stanley. I am in the process of writing a book and have been very busy with that is the reason I have not responded sooner. I had corresponded with your Mother a few years ago. The MATTIE limb of my Tree is very extensive. But I am glad to find someone who is interested in our ancestors and I am sure you could supply me with some additional information that I only have blanks. I went to school with two of Richard`s daughters, which is Eunice Sproles and Joy .They would be your aunts. Joy is deceased but Eunice is now living in Damon, Texas. She can be reached by E-mail .
