    1. [TX ROBERTSON] J.H. HUDSPETH- MRS SARAH BUSBY
    2. WANDA HARBERT
    3. Hello, I am searching for any information or leads on a ggreat aunt, Mrs. Sarah Busby ( nee OWENS) who married J.H. ( probably John Henry) HUDSPETH July 1862 in Robertson County, TX. The couple had a daughter Susie and I found where a Susie Hudspeth married Eddie ???. I found a John Henry Hudspeth b. 1823 in N.C. , died in 1870 in Wheeland, TX Robertson Co, buried in Thompson Creek Cemetery. Is this John Henry Hedspeth the same J.H. Hedspeth who married Sarah Busby? If it is, did Sarah Owen Busby Hedspeth remarry, and to whom? sarah was born in 1836 in TN so she would have been only 34 years old in 1870 when John Henry died. I am interested in locating Susie Hedspeth's descendants, are any out there?

I'd do a email send but I don't have a functional scanner and that's going to have to wait a few months (family reunion comes first.) I first have to find them in this mess I call a computer room/office and then make it to a copy center, so please don't be in a hurry! Nan

    2. sandra durham
    3. I am a descendant of the Wheelocks, Simms, Dunns and Killoughs of Robertson Co. Texas. I had the opportunity to go to Wheelock Texas last October and drive around to most of the land marks, and it was the best time I have had in a long time. The Wheelock Cemetary has so many people that I am related too it was overwhelming. But I cant wait to do it again sometime. I have a lot of info on the Wheelocks, Dunns and Killoughs, but not much on the Simms. I am looking for the family of Thomas Alexander Simms, who married Josephine Dunn and are buried in the Wheelock Cemetary. Thomas Alexander Simms was b 1861 and was living with the Wheelocks on the 1880 census for Robertson Co. TX. He was 18 and a laborer. A few pages over is Daniel Simms age 15, living with Annette Killough. Is this T.A.s' brother? If anyone knows the Simms family from Robertson Co. Tx, I would appreciate any help. I have searched the 1870 census and Thomas is not there, nor Daniel. Thank you very muc! h for your time. Sandy

    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: LUTTS, WOODWARD, MOSS Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/AlB.2ACE/512 Message Board Post: I am researching Amanda WOODWARD. She was born 28 Jun 1820 in Tennessee. She may have first been married to William WALLACE and had a son named William around 1847. Amanda married Adam LUTTS after Jun 1852 and they had one son, Adam Franklin LUTTS. Amanda lived in Bee County, TX, where she died in 1898 and is buried at Evergreen Cemetery there. She had relatives in Robertson County where her son, Adam Franklin LUTTS married Rachel MOSS in 1878. Research indicates that she may have been related to the Solomon WOODWARD families who migrated to Robertson and other TX counties, but I have not found one piece of documentation to prove or disprove this. I have searched the 1880 census in TN, AR and TX and cannot find Amanda anywhere and I have used every variation of the names that I can think of including searching just by the first name of both Amanda and Adam. I have had someone research the Bee county newspaper for an obituary for Amanda without any success. If anyon! e has any clues and/or if anyone can research the Robertson County Newspapers for Amand I sure would appreciate it. Any information and/or help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. If she is connected to the descendents of the Solomon WOODWARD family who migrated from TN she would also be connected to the HOLT, BAILEY, BURKETT, DOWDY, MADDOX, TROUTT, THOMPSON, ISBELL, PETTY, KURG, BLANCHART, WITHERS, NORTH, LYTLE, JOHNSON, BOWLES, ISBELL, THOMPSON, ISBELL, PETTY AND KURG families of TX.
