I suspect that you are desendant of the same Everett family as I am. My Grandmother was Lou Cindy Everett Perkins. I know she had brothers Tom, Rufus M. (Bud), and Lonzo. Her sisters were Susie Everett Tullous, Francis (Dude) E. Sweat, Josie E. Green and perhaps, there were other siblings. All were born in the late 1800's - early 1900's. If this is indeed your Everett line, I would be interested in know of the family history you have. My GM and most of her siblings are buried at Holly Cemetery http://www.rootsweb.com/txrober2/HOLLYCEMETERY.htm Hope to hear from you. [email protected]

No, I'm sorry but we can not locate any records for the Franklin cemetery and we have been working about three years to find as many unmarked graves as possible. The only McDaniel names I have are listed below . I would think that Willie Belle McDaniel is still living. Any thing you can give us would also be appreciated. Shirley VanHuss MCDANIEL, WILLIAM LOIS, “Bill”, 10.17.1921 – 08.05.1993, h/o Willie Belle, (G) Block 12 Lot 91 MCDANIEL, WILLIE BELLE JOHNSON, “Billie”, 10.08.1926 - ????, w/o William Lois McDaniel, DS, (G) Block 12 Lot 92 Hi Shirley, Just read your note and have a question about the Franklin Cemetery. I have a death certificate of a "cousin", James Thomas "Tom" McDaniel who died Dec 7 1927 in Robertson County. It says that he is buried at the Franklin Cemetery, but I have never found anything to prove this. Apparently, he is in an unmarked grave, but since you work for the cemetery, I am sure they have records showing where everyone is buried. I would appreciate anything you can give me on this. Thanks. Is anyone familiar with Mount Vernon Cemetery in Owensville or know where I could find detailed information on the burials there? My 2nd great grandmother, J. Wilds (Cooke) Garrard, died 1873, is buried there, and I would like to know if her husband, Tom Garrard, and some of her children are buried near her. They died in the 1873 Yellow Fever epidemic. Regards, Karen Trouvat
Does anyone have information on a James B. Cook and early land owner in the Robertson/Limestone County area? Regards, Karen Trouvat
In the course of my research, I've learned a good deal about my 3rd great grandfather Hiram W. Cooke and his brothers Louis P. Cooke, first Texas Secretary of the Navy, and Dr.Wilds K. Cooke who died in Robertson County in 1882. Wilds K. Cooke had an adopted son and heir, Brown K. Cooke. Does anyone know anything of Brown K. Cooke? Regards, Karen Trouvat
